FUNDAEC Development Fund (FDF) enables people worldwide to contribute to the advancement of community wellbeing by supporting FUNDAEC, which has promoted the teaching of science and its application to community life in Colombia for more than fifty years.
Who we are
FUNDAEC is rooted in South America and has worked with communities in Colombia for more than fifty years. As its work has become known beyond Latin America, proposals for collaboration have arrived from organizations around the world, and especially from funders in North America.
FUNDAEC Development Fund was created in response to that interest. It is the bridge that connects FUNDAEC with philanthropists, foundations, and practitioners who want to invest in its mission, and the mechanism that makes it simple for them to join.
We are delighted by the growing interest North America has shown in our work. It tells us we are ready for the next step.
FDF facilitates the engagement of practitioners, philanthropists, and philanthropic institutions from North America and around the world who are eager to invest in FUNDAEC’s mission: the teaching of science and its application to community wellbeing.
Every contribution becomes direct support for the programs FUNDAEC carries out in Colombia.
