A course that provides the knowledge and tools needed for the production, planting, and care of trees, promoting the conservation of native species, agroecology, and environmental sustainability. Over the course of 6 weeks, participants explore practices that support biodiversity, soil health, and ecosystem restoration, while recognizing the interdependence between people and their environment.
The course also encourages participants to understand the nursery as a space for learning, collaboration, and community action. Through collective work, participants develop capacities to contribute to the conservation and restoration of their surroundings, while strengthening relationships and forms of organization aimed at the collective well-being. In this way, growing and caring for trees becomes an opportunity to generate knowledge and participate in local processes that contribute to environmentally sustainable development and the strengthening of community life.
