50 Years of Impact: The Weaving Stories section features a series created to celebrate FUNDAEC’s 50th anniversary, gathering testimonies from those who have been part of its history. Through their voices, a collective narrative unfolds—one that honors the spirit, learning, and impact on our collaborators over five decades.
In Weaving a Fabric of Unity, the book opens with a heartfelt dedication:
“This book is dedicated to all the souls who embraced the vision kindled half a century ago by the initiators of FUNDAEC and who have labored throughout the years to transform this dream into reality. Their unwavering commitment and steadfast service have laid the bedrock upon which the institution’s triumphs stand tall. Though some are mentioned within these pages, countless others—whose faith, effort, and dedication were equally vital—remain unnamed. Without their devotion to the cause of development, the story woven in this book could never have been told.”
Building on this spirit, Weaving Stories seeks to bring forward the voices and journeys of those whose names may not appear in Weaving a Fabric of Unity, but whose contributions are no less profound. These are the stories of faith, effort, and perseverance—of men and women who, often quietly and unseen, have been essential threads in the tapestry of social development and transformation.
